This town should be appalled with its so called Chief. Targeting out of state plates as a practice is the same as racial profiling. Chief you should be embarrassed and resign, or make changes. Your own state reps do not agree with your unconstitutional practices. I hope hard working Americans boycott your town. Is life that boring for your officers that you cannot be more proactive toward working real crimes? I am a former police officer and what you are doing is reprehensible. It is ironic that So. Carolina has one of the worst education systems in our country and looks like the law enforcement product is a clear example of that. You do not deserve even 1 star.

Today makes the 7 time they've came to my door looking for a woman who hasn't lived here since I've moved in, you'd think they would write it down.

I was skrewed over by this town with tickets ending with a suspended license and almost 2500 in tickets

This Police Department is the MOST CORRUPT and HATEFUL I have ever seen. For a town, which population is around 800 people, they average $1,000,000.00 in revenue each year with speed traps, sitting around curves coming into and out of town, targeting out of state plates of people coming from I95 to Myrtle Beach via 378. They never patrol the back streets, they just park their $70,000 muscle cars on the corner and charge people. Currently there is an investigation going on that made National News because they bring in money that you would see in a 200,000 person town, and theirs is less than 1,000. This is a for profit police station, 100% no question.
